Sport has always been a part of my life — I grew up playing rugby, football, cricket, and dabbling in tennis and basketball. I can't say I set the world on fire in any of them, but the enjoyment was always there, and the values learned in each have served me well over the years.

I've also been lucky to watch my children play a similar range of sports — from under 6s football through to international rugby and a whole lot more in between. Like many parents, that meant volunteering at local grassroots clubs in various roles: coach, first aider, qualified referee, fixtures manager. In that time I experienced first hand the budget constraints faced by team volunteers, with the desire to provide for my team often outstripping the funding available. Like many, that often meant paying out of pocket.

It's that experience that led me to build TEAMETRiQ — a budget-friendly stats analysis and tracking platform aimed squarely at grassroots clubs. Rolling 30-day periods so you're not paying during your off-season. No paywalls, no timed ads, no feature gates.
